Adam Mich

Adam Mich returns for his fifth full season with the Iowa Lightning as a full time coach and third season as Director of Operations.  Mich was a standout athlete at 4A Oskaloosa Senior High School excelling in football, basketball and track.  Upon graduation from high school, Mich attended the University of Northern Iowa where he fulfilled a long time dream by earning his degree in Secondary Education.  

Mich is currently teaching at Denison High School in Denison, Iowa. He just completed his second year as the head coach for the Monarch Women's Basketball program. Mich led his team to a  21-3 record and a 6th place ranking in the state, the 21 wins tied the school record for most wins in a season. Coach Mich is a favorite among the athletes he coaches as he not only brings coaching expertise but is also a deliverer of life skills for young people.

In the summer months, Mich enjoys spending his time in youth athletics. As Director of Operations, Coach Mich will oversee all of the Iowa Lightning activities, tournament schedules and practices.  His enthusiasm, energy, organization skills and coaching skills is a tremendous asset to the Iowa Lightning organization.
