Coach Morrissey

Lisa Morrissey joins the Iowa Lightning for her fourth season in 2010. A former Iowa Lightning player, Morrissey has served as a team coach while completing her degree in elementary education at Loras College in Dubuque, IA.

Coach Morrissey is a four year letterman at Loras College where she has been a three year starter at point guard. She played her high school basketball at West Des Moines Dowling High school where she helped lead her team to the state tournament in each of her years on the varsity basketball squad. In the summers during her high school years Coach Morrissey played basketball with the Iowa Lightning where she led her team to one of the best records ever by an Iowa Lightning team.

Upon graduating in May, 2010 Coach Morrissey hopes to land a teaching position in Iowa and continue coaching girls basketball at the high school level.
